1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the services provided by Switzerland Travels, including our website and tour services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Reservations and Payments

To confirm a reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required. The remaining balance must be paid at least 15 days before the tour start date.

We accept payments by credit card, bank transfer, and other methods specified in the booking process. All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include applicable VAT.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour date: full refund minus administrative fees (5%).
  • Cancellations between 15 and 30 days before the tour: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the tour: no refund.
  • In the event of exceptional circumstances (serious illness, death in the family), we will evaluate each case individually.

4. Modifications

Reservation changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Any changes must be requested in writing to info@switzerlandtravels.ch

5. Responsibilities of Switzerland Travels

We are committed to providing the services as described on our website and in the booking confirmation. In the event of unavoidable changes due to circumstances beyond our control, we will do our best to offer equivalent alternatives.

We reserve the right to modify the itinerary due to adverse weather conditions, attraction closures, or other unforeseen circumstances, always prioritizing the safety of our customers.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when making the reservation.
  • Have valid travel documents (passport, visas if necessary).
  • Follow the guide's instructions during tours.
  • Respect local laws and regulations.
  • Take out adequate travel insurance.

7. Limitation of Liability

Discover Switzerland is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or additional expenses resulting from causes beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, terrorist acts, changes in public transport schedules, etc.

8. Applicable Legislation

These terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
